Hi
I am currently building a 750 berlina Abarth -57 but I am missing the side emblems for the car.
Do anyone know any webpage/company that sells remakes?
Also missing the emblems that supposed to be inside the car on the dash, info about these?

Color codes: Do anyone know the color codes for the red/white combo? Or by any chance have a color picture of a car with this combo?

Cheers

As far as I can tell, reproductions of the front fender script emblems are not available from anyone (have not been reproduced). I am currently looking into making a few reproductions of these from my original script emblems.

The side flag emblems used vary with the year of the car. I might have a pair of used flag emblems for a 1958 car available for sale soon (previously offered to a friend, so I'd have to check with him first). Reproductions were made/offered by vendors, but only for one specific year & only for one side of the car.

Again, the dash script emblem is not reproduced by anyone as far as I've found. I am looking into reproducing this from my original emblem, as well. The small Abarth shield is available, but the scorpion style is usually a slightly later type. Finding the correct shield emblem is difficult, but not impossible.

I'd like to know this info, as well! I only have a few blurry black/white photos of real Abarth 750's. I've found a few color photos of replica cars, but they were not painted red/white. I'm still trying to collect photos of real 750's in order to repaint my car correctly.

G'day Jeff/Felix,

Not sure if this is of any help but check out a video on www.youtube.com called "Fiat Abarth 750-850-1000TC & TCRs in collections part 2"
It seems to be a very original looking collection that features an early 600 based Abarth .(1 min,11 sec)

Cheers Toby.

That is most likely the video of part of the Aumueller (sp?) Collection that was posted by Pantdino (Jim Oddie) in one of my previous posts here about the Abarth 750 Berlina:

JS and Felix--

Certainly the old photos are what you will have to go by regarding the paint pattern for the car.  Any car that has been repainted, even if it is not a replica, could have had the pattern changed.

It's safe to say the white would have been the standard Fiat white, as it would not have been cost-effective to paint the entire car just to affect a slight color change.

What the exact shade the red was is another matter.  I wonder if Herr Aumüller would remember.  Want me to email him?

Hello
Thanks veryone for the replies.
Viotti600: We'll keep in touch about the emblems.
About the color codes as far as I can tell the 750 abarth Berlina has not the "Abarth" white color but a kind of White/ivory/beige color.
Like this one: ( a scale model but nonetheless)
http://cgi.ebay.it/FIAT-600-DERIVAZIONE-ABARTH-750-Progetto-K-PK235_W0QQitemZ350061095981QQihZ022QQcategoryZ17938QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
Also a few years back there was an article in Auto Italia, comparing several abarths, and there there was one 750 abarth (i think) that had the ivory/beige/white color.
But I agree with Viotti600 it is difficult to find information about these cars, specially on the net.
Thanks again

I emailed Herr Aumüller to see if he could remember if that creme / red color scheme is one he can remember from the old days.

Herr Aumüller wrote back via his daughter:

Soweit sich mein Vater erinnern kann, gab es das Fahrzeug in cremeweiß-rot, in mintgrün-rot und in rot-cremeweiß.

Bei dem Modell stimmt allerdings der Seitenstreifen nicht, er verläuft nämlich vorne links und rechts hoch zur Haube und nicht in den Kotflügel hinein. Ferner hatte der 750, soweit wir wissen, auch einen Streifen in der Mitte der vorderen Haube zur Windschutzscheibe hin.

When my German is correct, it says:

"As far as my father can remember, the 750 came in creme-red, mintgreen-red, and red-creme.
The model shown is not correct in that the side stripe should not go onto the front fender.  Also, there should be a stripe in the center of the front hood back to the windshield."

This description and the colors would correspond to the cars below

She is correct about the side & hood stripes shown on that eBay toy model car. The side stripe doesn't go on the side of the front fender like that, it goes along the top of the fender just under the edge of the hood. The hood stripe runs up the center ridge of the hood to just below the windshield. However, the 2 cars noted in the photos should also have the entire roof part of the car painted red. From the horizontal body seam just below the windshield, up/over the car & then ending at the horizontal body seam below the rear window - as shown on the toy model car. So, technically, all 3 cars are painted incorrectly! LOL. ;D
