Hi,
I am looking for some decent brake discs, and calipers to fit onto my Zastava 750S, anyone know what would be best?
Also the wide rear arches to fit bigger wheels under - any ideas?
I am actually at the beginning of this, my first project and trying to "Abarthise" the 750S, so any advice would be useful.
I don't have a lot of cash, so the cheapest way will usually be the best ;)
Many thanks!
Scott
By the way I am based in the Netherlands.
Check out http://www.scorpioneabarthparts.nl/index2.htm
They have the biggest list of parts I have found so far.
For brakes I think most people use Fiat 850 Coupe or Spider front discs and calipers. The rears are not as important, but I'm told you can fit Fiat 124 rear discs if you want to.
Heres' a photo of 850 discs on a 600

Here's a better photo
Hallo Scott,
Als je niet gaat racen, zou ik achter trommels houden en voor schijfremmen zoals eerder aanbevolen.
De balans is prima en je hoeft geen aanpassingen te doen.
Succes met vriendelijke groeten, Vincent.
Thanks all - Now all I have to do is find them.
If anyone comes across any for sale cheaply - please let me know!
find a set from 124 spider front brake and this is easy ,better Fiat UNO turbo with the disx .More better are the fiat 1300/1500 berline front brakes ,the where the same like the TC corsa our TCR PS ,a set off new disx ,adaptorplates, brakepads all fittings and two new calipters cost you only 400 euro ex vat,in kit from
Thanks Guy - I had no idea there was such a choice of interchangeable parts.
Do you know of a list of interchangeable parts - does such a thing exist? Maybe it could be published on your site?
Anyway - I had better start saving!
Thanks again,
Scott
a Abarth is like a mecano and mayby whe are all small childreren that play with it
Another cheap solution is to make your own adapter plate to fit the brake caliper you want. If you use Fiat 850 spindles will be th best solution in my opinion, but it might take some time to find them.
What year 850s had rear disc brakes ?
Dave
never ,only the francis lombardi abarth SS that was base on 850 had this .also the simca 1000 (some rally models, simca 1000 coupe and 1200 coupe use same sytem that you can fit
i am looking for adapters to fit a set of uno turbo brakes onto a 1600 spider BS1...anyone ?
thanks
peter
fiat use for the 1600 the front brake from a 1300/1500 +- 1966 .The where 3 pads and where same like on 1000 TC and fit easy on car
Peter,
In my opinion leave the rears alone, just Ferodo pads and Brembo discs (or EBC pads) at the rear if you must an hydralic handbrake.
I do not believe FIA will pass vented fronts, they cannot !,but FIVA might. For FIA use group 4 homalagted Osca 3 spot Girlings.
Grant
same like the fiat 1300/1500 ones
thanks guys,
are these the ones ?

yes,iff you see on all fiat 1500/1300 1966/1970 berline original on front idem on a 1000 TC
Peter,
It would be nice if they were.Theo (the seller) sends you Rover or Volvo calipers (with bleader holes at the bottom !) instead of the correct Osca ones.It is very important that you figure out if the calipers will go in the front or the rear of the wheel so you can figure where the fluid lines should go.
Theo wanted me to run a line outside the caliper from the bottom left to the top right, something I hated the thought of.One good rock and the line could easily have been damaged.Girling limited the amount of external lines to an absolute minimum which sounds much safer to me.

thanks grant, basically it is just to improve somewhat the brakes of my BS1 1600...on the front as i will leave the rear as they are...
