Title: A112 -Fiat 127 type camshaft for 850 motor , what part numbers ?
Post by: DaveA on September 26, 2007, 07:13:23 PM
Hi

I will be going to Europe in a couple weeks ,  And want to buy some parts at the Fiat dealer

what is the part number of the  A112 Fiat 127 camshaft to make a 850 motor run the "proper " direction to fit into a Fiat 600

is a Fiat Panda - Uno the same part ?

and what is the part number for the oil pump drive  to make the 850 oil pump go in the "proper" direction ?

Will I be able to find this in a  junkyard in  Italy or  Germany ?

Thanks for your help

Dave

Dave,

If you need a Fiat 127 camshaft (standard) I have those in stock.  BRAND NEW STOCK.  You do not need to go to Europe for this.  I also carry a hot-street regrind of the Foat 127 cam (SRL270) that make for a lively improvement.  I have many street cars using this cam.

If it is an 850 block (4mm shorter than the 903 block) then I carry the actual gears and can install one of those on your current oil pump drive shaft.  If it is a 903, then the one from an A112 or 127 will fit.  Do not by the pump drive shaft from a later Cinquecento !!  While the bear and the pump part are fine, as these engines do not have a distributor, Fiat left the drive part off the top of the shaft.  As long as what you are gettin it from had a distributor, all should be good.

Take a look at my website www.scuderiataopolino.com for further information/ideas.  I am located in Raleigh NC.
