Title: fiat sunroof
Post by: red snapper on February 11, 2008, 04:05:33 AM
Hi, I have a 1956 fiat 600 with a factory sunroof. Sorta. I have a huge hole in my roof but no actual cover. Does anyone have any pictures of a 600 with a sunroof? I need to see how it should look. Thank,Brian.

One more question. Does the cover just sit on top of the bows or is it sewn into some sort of sleeve? My old pattern is so worn, I cant really tell. Thanks.

there must be pieces of material holding the top to the bows or the top would billow out like a parachute when you drove.

Hello,

Hope this helps, I have a Fiat 600D with a sunroof . At the front the sunroof material slides over the sunroof mechanism then at the rear of the cover, is fixed at the back with a metal strip which clamps the cover down and hides the strip and screws, this also tensions the sunroof . And thats it !.If the cover flaps around when you are driving , you just adjust the tension.
