50mm or 70mm Alquati style sport exhaust?

This Alquati style sport exhaust appears to be best suited for adapting a wideband o2 sensor but it can come in a size of 50mm or 70mm.  Do any of you know why one size would be better than the other?  I am thinking the larger size will be less restricting than the smaller one.
